Emerald Maiden

My hard drive is like the black lagoon. It amazes me that I can find ANYTHING on there sometimes and while I cry about the lack of disk space, let's face it, if I cleaned the wretched thing up, it wouldn't be a problem, would it?

Anyway, I have been doing some maintenance on it, and while I was going through the Aussie Scrap directory deleting blinkies* I happened across a poser fr33bie - Emerald Maiden - that Gail had put out that I forgot I had. This after I was crying for posers I could use for St. Patrick's Day.

I used the Irish Coffee taggers kit by StitchyAngel Creationz, which was a clean up job in it's own right as the papers cames as .pngs the graphics came as .psds. Now...I understand there is a reason, from time to time to save a paper as a .png, but none of these papers kit the case and well, .jpgs take up a heck of a lot less room. And well, .pngs are like 1/5 of the size of .psds.

Thank Cornell for the batch processing function!

Irish Coffee

The shamrock curtain in the background is from ChaDesignz, and the word art was a fr33bie from Tigs Scraps. "Irish Coffee" qualifies more as a Mini-kit than either of the offering some Jill does. I believe Irish Maiden was a product of Gail's poser practice. I've always wondered if any of the posers she's coming up with are actually characters in that fantasy book she says she's writing.

The word art on this tag came from Captivated Visions.

* A note on blinkies: I will always, always, always urge you put a blinkie in with your kit for download, and I don't mind store blinkies either. Including a blinkie with your kit is still the fastest and easiest way to get me to add it to my sidebar. However once I've added, I get rid of them, and I certainly don't need 25 or 50 of the same blinkie floating around on my already cluttered hard drive!

Things I'd like to add to the hard drive lagoon: Sleep over themed taggers kits. It occurred to me that this would be a great T-13 theme for the kitty cats. After all, what better thing do they do than SLEEP? I'm also looking for British or U.K. themed kits. We've got a lot a cat bloggers over in the U.K., so a U.K. T-13 would work well too. The only one I have is Ali's Royal Britannia, so if you know of any others.

CU wise, I'm looking for anything Mexican themed to use in a Cinco de Mayo kit. I've already got the clip art and a couple of templates I found on BSB, and I'm sure I can beg an sombrero from Bonnie, but if you've got any other suggestions, let me know.

Jessica from Gothic Inspirations has given me the Premio Dardos Award.

The PREMIO DARDOS AWARD, acknowledges the value of every blogger that shows in their effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literacy and personal values everyday.

This award has a few rules, to make sure it gets passed on to those other well deserved blogger that promote all these good things!

The rules are:

1. Accept the award, post it in your blog together with the name of person granted the award and his or her blog link.

2. Past the award to (up to) 15 other blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgment. Remember to contact them to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

Once again, I've changed the rules a because, let's face it, finding 15 bloggers who don't have it is going to be a stretch. LOL.

However, I'd like to pass it on to Evie at Squinty Owl who writes a very nice Aussie blog, and Snowraven - I find out all sorts of interesting things from her blog. And of course if you don't have it and would like it, feel free...

Nothing to do with the award, but I just bought Jessica's first CU Grab Bag. Check out her Daisy Chain I totally love this one. It's going in the Easter kit for sure!
