It used to be that Ras would throw the rosin bag to the mound from the dugout. This was a legend among the minor leaguers as well, because he never missed from that distance.
Last season, I think it was, he started tagging a youngster to run the rosin bag out to the mound for him.
Last night it was Owen's turn. Owen is 3 and just started playing bitty ball, and seemed a little confused as to what they wanted him to do, dropping the rosin bag at home plate instead.
Missy a.k.a. Miss A-Miracle, the team mascot, helped get him turned in the right direction.
Good work Owen!
