If you were headed out to the hop in the 50's, it was a good chance you were in one of these babies. The redesigned '57 T-Bird sported a reshaped front bumper, and larger grille and tail fins and larger tail lamps, a stylized instrument panel and a 312 cu in (5.1 L) V8 engine. It sold over 21,000 units, making it THE personal car of the late 50's.

These poser tube pack present the '57 T-Bird in all her vintage glory. There are 11 tubes in the pack, each measuring over 2000 pixels on their longest sides and saved to 300 DPI, making them perfect for both print and web use.

The Shelby Mustang was a high performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby from 1965 to 1968, and from 1969 to 1970 by Ford. The '67 GT-500 came equipped with a "Ford Cobra" V8 (FE Series 428 cu.in.) engine with two 600 CFM Holly four-barrel carburetors sitting atop a mid-rise Aluminum intake manifold.

There's a whole lotta shakin' going on the Essential Tremors Awareness Blog Train!

Once known as familial tremor, benign tremor or hereditary tremor, essential tremor (ET) is a neurological condition that causes a rhythmic trembling of the hands, head, voice, legs or trunk. Some people even feel an internal shake. ET is often confused with Parkinson’s disease although it’s eight times more common, affecting an estimated 10 million Americans and millions more worldwide. But essential tremor is more than just a tremor. Because of stereotypes and a lack of awareness, many people with ET never seek medical care.

Essential Tremors requires a diagonis from a doctor. Symptoms may include shaking that occurs with simple tasks such as tying shoelaces, writing, or shaving. Symptoms may be aggravated by stress, fatigue, caffeine, and temperature extremes.

But perhaps the most far reaching influence of the 50's came when the blues, jazz, gospel music, western swing and country music all came together to give birth to what DJ Alan Freed termed "Rock and Roll" in 1951.
