You'll be Awestruck by the LPD&F Blog Train!

There really wasn't a theme for this train. Leigh had suggested a rain theme, or flowers, but I like to do Asian kits around this time of the year and find it's nice alternative to the more banal offerings you find during spring.

So that's what I did. This lovely Asian Spring kit comes with 12 .jpg papers and 25 .png elements, plus one "Chai" poser from ©MediEvil Creations.

You are getting 2 bamboo, 2 bows, 2 flowers, 2 frames, 2 ribbons, 1 border, 1 bridge, 1 fan, 1 flowering plant, 1 frog planter, 1 garden tower, 1 koi fish, 1 kokeshi doll, 1 lantern, 1 leaf, 1 rice paper screen, 1 silk umbrella, 1 tree, 1 wall hanging, and 1 window.

It's a Spring Thing Fling on The Digi Express Blog Train!

I don't really like pastels, but I do love this palette so I was quite excited to get to work with it. I wasn't really into another bunny/spring/Easter type kit, so after giving it some thought I decided to go orient.

My only regret it that I didn't get to make an bigger kit. But perhaps I'll find some time to do a PTU one latter in the month.

The kit comes with 10 papers and 25 elements, as well as 1 "Cheri Blossom" poser by ©MediEvil Creations. IOS Blog Train: Chinese New Year 2012

Welcome to the Digicats' station on the IOS Blog Train where we are still celebrating Chinese New Year!

The Chinese New Year of the (Water) Dragon begins on January 23rd. People born under the Dragon are passionate, brave and self-assured. At their best they are pioneering spirits; at their worst, they epitomize the old adage: Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. Dragons are generous with their resources, a tendency that at its most negative can reflect a foolhardy attitude towards money. But Dragons in general are blessed with good fortune. They are smart, enterprising and have a wicked sense of humor. They have a natural flair for fashion and are the people to consult if you want to catch up on the latest trends.

This Chinese New Year 2012 ushers in the Water Dragon. Water exerts a calming influence on the Dragon’s innate fire. Water Dragons are more open to other people’s opinions than other Dragons which gives them the ability to channel their personal charisma into real leadership qualities.

This digital taggers kit celebrates the Chinese New Year of the Dragon with 10 beautifully patterned papers and 40 explosive elements including one "Jayde" cookie by ©MediEvil Creations.

Inside this kit you will also find 5 bows, 4 ribbons, 3 fans, 3 fireworks, 2 frames, 2 paper lanterns, 2 rockets, 1 2012 fireworks, 1 bamboo, 1 blowpipe, 1 centerpiece, 1 dragon disk, 1 dragon, 1 eye swirl, 1 Geta shoes, 1 jewel box, 1 lotus flower, 1 ninja star, 1 pagoda, 1 rice bowl, 1 Shoji screen, 1 streamer set, 1 tag, 1 umbrella, and 1 wish box.

300 DPI. Personal use only.

Sizzlin' Hot Deals on my new Gradient Stashes!

It's Sizzlin' Saturday over at The Creativity Box, where you will find sizzlin' hot deals everywhere you look. You can snag all those Digicats (& Dogs) products you've been craving for 50% off!

That includes my new gradient stashes:

Chinese New Year is often overlooked. 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit and it begins on February 3rd. Children born this year, as well as people turning 12, 24, 36, 48, 60 etc. are all Rabbit People.

People born in the Year of the Rabbit are articulate, talented, and ambitious. They are virtuous, reserved, and have excellent taste. Rabbit people are admired, trusted, and are often financially lucky. They are fond of gossip but are tactful and generally kind. Rabbit people seldom lose their temper. They are clever at business and being conscientious, never back out of a contract. They would make good gamblers for they have the uncanny gift of choosing the right thing. However, they seldom gamble, as they are conservative and wise.

There are 22 gradients in this stash including lots of red, which is the color for good luck!

I wasn't going to do winter gradients, as I felt like we've had enough snow, but I had some scripts to test of for Liz and one of them was a snowman. So I made up one and it turned out so nice, I made 25 more. These are all icy cold and capture the colors of the winter season perfectly.

You can make your winter themed kits really pop, when you design with gradients!

Spring of course is coming, we're all looking forward to it. I have two different packs, each with 23 spring gradients.

Everything from soft airy angel wing pastels to bright Easter Egg colors can be found in these stashes.

Never used Gradients before? Find out the various uses for them HERE.

My gradient packs are available at:

But there's only ONE store where you can get them at a Sizzlin' Hot price. So jump in the box now! The Creativity Box: Where people go to get creative!
