I can has Eastern Bunny?

Easter Bunny

Way too early for Easter, but the "Little Bo Peep" kit was just such a departure from Kristin's norm, that I felt the need to do something with it, if only just for the diversion. Although I do have some Easter stuff on my system already from last year.

The bunny is part of the Cuddles Pack from Perfect Posers, you can find both at Aussie Scraps. I seem to think I had a Easter Egg type mask but I couldn't find it. Must have been dreaming.

Odds and Ends

I did not realize the Daisy wanted to be a princess. If I had, I'd have made her a princess much sooner.

Cornish Rex Cat,Fantasy

Diamond says being a Princess is not all it's cracked up to be. Yes, you get a unicorn, but then you have to muck out the stall and take care of it.

I used the Princess Bling kit from Robin's Chic Scraps and the Pretty Princess kit from Kristen's Wicked Scrapz to put this together. The pink star in the crown is from the Wicked Cool kit from Designs by Helly. The Diamond Alpha was created by JoBeth Scraps.

You do have to admit she looks very imperious in this shot.

Another conglomeration piece is Fright Night which is another graphic I did for the House Panthers' group.

Howl-N-Scream,Halloween,House Panther

The background was a freebie from Deviant Designer, and the frame was a freebie from Angel Designs. The felt pieces came from Monika Digital Designs and they were a free download from AhhhScrap, I think. The felt Alpha was a Digi-free find from Clever Crow Design Studio.

I used an orange glow/drop shadow on the frame and the cat to make them stand out better.

I knew I had done another tag, and I couldn't find it. In the end, I'd forgotten to upload it.

October is my birthday month and Fall is my favorite time of year. I do not have yellow hair however, although it does go well with the colors.

Tag

The Fairy is the October Fairy-of-the-month from Ratmomma (© 2008 Carolyn McComas). I used a freebie kit from Scrappy Redhead (apply titled Fall Mini Freebie) which I downloaded from Scrap Happiness.

I'm a little unhappy because the only pics I have a Tristan I've taken with the digital, and they're not really clear. In any case he's got some plans for this weekend as you can see from tag that I call "Steppin' Out":

However, he does look rather elegant, don't you think?

I used the Black & White Playboy kit from Kristen's Wicked Scrapz, although the "VIP Pass" is assembled off a tag from her Red and Black kit. The alpha was from the Dinner Party freebie from Shabby Princess.

The hat was producted the way some designers produce their kits: I found a picture of a hat that I liked and I giffed it.

I couldn't figure out how to give him a walking cane however, but as he says he's taking a limo to "his" club, I guess he doesn't need one.

Kristen's Wicked Scrapz

I've downloaded kits from Kristen's Wicked Scrapz before, and use bits and pieces occasionally, but I've never done tags with her stuff (except for the one of Spooky Do which I really wasn't all that pleased with). I decided to remedy that tonight as she's got some really adorable Halloween kits and they're all FREEEEEEE, which is the best treat of all.

These first two kits are all using pieces from Kristen's kits the first one is predominately Wicked Halloween, and the second one is Spooky Halloween with bits from the Mini-Halloween Scrap Pack and the Halloween Scrap Pack 2 added in. The Pumpkin and Ghost graphic were her freebie today.

This third one uses her Wicked Halloween kit. The ghost on the right hand side is from Scrap Pack 2. The Batty and Betty Bat tubes are freebies from Scrappiles of Digi Style.

Halloween

The fourth is an actual Tag, which uses her Darkness and Black and Red kits. Except for the bat sticker, which is from the Mini-Halloween Scrap Pack. The Cineful tube is (c) 2008 Aiya Riordan (Artist Freebie) and you can find here work at Aiyariordan.blogspot.com I wanted a Chrome Frame for this, and I got that from Chaos Priestess, who has package of 8 available for 75 cents at Digital Chaos.

Tag,Gothic

Finally, and totally off on a different theme, is this lovely Princess tag for my little princess, Miss Diamond. That's an Alicorn, BTW, not a unicorn, and it hails from Scrapbrat's Designs. The kitty charm in the lower left hand corner was a freebie that didn't come with a TOU, so I've no idea who created it.

Fantasy,Tag

I used Kristen's Pretty Princess kit for this one (naturally).

If you want to snag any of the first three for you blog, facebook, myspace pages, whatever, knock yourself out. They're properly credited, just don't change or erase the copyright or claim them as your own work.

(The last two tags are mine, Bwaaahhhhaaaahhaaaa!)

The Eyes have it

I had a moment of giddy excitement at work on Friday when I ran across a free 30-day downloadable trial version of PSP X2. When I got home and looked it up - and read the technical specifications, my poor little heart crashed. It - much like PS CS2 requires either XP or Vista, and I'm still running Win 2000. (And believe me, I remember when that was state of the art!) ::sigh::

So we're stuck with my moldy old version of Photoshop (5.0). One for the Books did not have any Photoshop manuals either, although they did have a small selection of old computer related technical manuals, including PSP 8 to choose from. "We'd take anything for Photoshop," the girl told me, "but no one ever brings anything in."

Oh well. I did download a few more kits today but I'll get to that as I get to them. Right now I want to share some tags for some expressively eyed cats on the Cat BlogoSphere.

Cat,Howl-N-Scream

Theo has some really expressive eyes and he's obviously seeing some thing he just can't believe in his Howl-N-scream tag. What next he wonders? This used the Fright Night kit from Creations by Jo. Three of the next kits I just purchased came from Creations by Jo, which prompted me to find her blog. The extra bits in the kit - the ghosts and the black cat - where from the Mini Halloween Scrap Pack freebie from Kristen's Wicked Scraps.

The Black Epoxy lettering on this one, and the Bloody Mess lettering on the next two tags were from Free Digital Scrapbooking.

Cat,Howl-N-Scream

Yao-Lin does not strike me as the sort of feline to be afraid of anything. I mean, he lives with the Stinky Baby Mao, everything must seem pretty tame after that. But he obviously sees something out there that's not to his liking. This also used the Fright Night kit from Creations by Jo.

Cat,Howl-N-Scream

Kellie the Orange Cat was out trick or treating when she heard something and now she's not so sure she want to go knock on the door of that haunted mansion behind her. Perhaps it was the moaning of the wind, but then...could it also have been...oh my....

This used the Night of the Dead kit by Chaos Priestess.

I think - and I don't think this will be a problem - I'll do a T-13 with these tags on Miss Diamond's blog on Thursday. I'm working on setting up a new blog for my new Tabby Cat, Trisan, who is cowering under the bed despite the fact the demon cat from hell is somewhere outside.
