Wild, Wild Life and a Little Ghostie

Ishona over at Scrappetizing was looking for a zoo kit to scrap some pictures with. I didn't have a zoo kit, but I have a couple of safari ones, so I sent over the link to Jungle Love, even though it's a taggers kit.

This is what she came up with and I'm sure you'll agree, they're adorable.





Evidently the stickers were a big hit and she said had it been left up to her 10-year old son, she would have a lot more stickers on these layouts. LOL!



Pretty kitty! I still need to go put these up in the various galleries.

Jungle Love is a taggers kit but it's 300 DPI making it suitable for blog wear, plus smaller print jobs such as brag books. I use my kits to print 5 x 7 inch cards for my family for holidays and birthdays and they work great for that.

Next up, Jessica at Gothic Inspirations did a fab little tute using my Crazy Little Thing Called Blood taggers kit. I LOVE the ghost, BTW. He comes with the kit. LOL!

Ghost Train Running

I've been goofing off for the week, doing tutorials and creating some tags, which was a lot of fun.

The October Ghost Train liked to bill itself out as the largest blog train ever, but I would question that statement. I got about 2.5 gigs of scrap off the Lucky blog train, which had fewer designers. And while I didn't grab all the pieces of the Christmas Around the World Blog Train, I seem to recall it having 194 designers participating.

The Ghost Train had 108 on the final roster, although some of them never got their parts up.

I have no intention of tagging the entire Ghost Train. For one thing, I'm not - except for some notable exceptions - taking full size kits. And some of the taggers kits I did take are nearly impossible to work with.

I also deleted one of the kits I'd downloaded because the designer is engaging in digital piracy. We're not sure if she's just too ignorant to realize what she's doing or if she just doesn't care. However, as the eye patch fits...she might as well wear it.

There are a lot of element packs and mini-kits in it. I should combine the mini-kits, I'd get better tags out of the deal. In any case, I enjoy doing Halloween tags and the blog train kits are free so...]



Melli is (c) by MediEvil Creations. The scraps are from Crazed's Creations portion of the kit and the Creepy Faced alpha is by Nutshel Creations. It'a available for purchase at Scrappetizing if your looking for it.



I love the darling cat in this kit - she looks like my Miss Diamond. Wendi is (c) by MediEvil Creations, and the scraps are from Coquetta's Designs. The Halloween Town alpha is from I Don't Give a Scrap and is a part of the train. I'm going to use it a lot on the upcoming tags.



Webmistress is (c) by Bits'N'Bobs, while the scraps are from Tooty Pup. I love that web - it's fab! The Creepy Alpha is by Winter's Loft and is FTU part of the Gothic Inspirations Blog Train.

I've never used any of Tooty Pup's kits before, so I was rather curious about playing with this one. It did not make me want to run out and buy more, but neither did it turn me off completely, so if I see something from her I might like, I would probably pick it up.



The Mummy is (c) by Lady Anne/Inspired Dezignz, and is available on the train. The scraps are from Tyger's Tidbits, except for the word art, which is courtesy of Ginger's House. The Bones alpha is courtesy of Free Digital Scrapbooking.

I think all of the masks I'm using came from Wee Scots Lass. I use hers the most often, simply because they are pretty darn useful.



The sweet little pumpkin witch is from Outlaw by Design; the scraps are from Simply Iresistible Designz' Halloween Town taggers kit. The Little Monster alpha is courtesy of Free Digital Scrapbooking.



I love Creationz by Jo, so this was one of the full sized kits I made an exeption for. Then of course I resized it for taggings. Niedre is (c) by MediEvil Creations. I love the great big ghostly skull in the background. So creepy!



Widowmaker is (c) by MediEvil Creations. The scraps in this tag are by Anti Social Distortions. The rain curtain is by Kissed by Pix and is not part of the kit, I just thought it looked better with the rain in the background.

Coooookkkeeeee MONSTER!

These first two tags feature Cookies from SSLisa's Gothique pack. I'm using my Sleepy Hollow taggers kit for the scraps, the masks are from Wee Scots Lass, some of her new Halloween ones.


The "Spooktacular" alpha is a PTU one by Cora's Creations.


This one was a seasonal play on friend Merry Jane's name. The Bloody alpha is from Designs by Sarah Bryan, part of the Gothic Inspirations Hallows Eve.

These next three are "Elvira" cookies that Lisa was working up for the Fangtasia Blog Train. The Cast Iron alpha was a FTU alpha from Doodles from my Noodle. I don't know that it's still available on line. I've had it for so long I actually forgot I had it!


The scraps are from my forthcoming Witchy Woman taggers kit. Look for this one to be released at Scrappetizing on October 19th. It will be in my other stores the following weekend, October 26th.


I used my Freaky Frankie's Birthday Bash tagger kit for this tag. You can do strictly Halloween things with it, you don't have to generate a birthday themed tag.


Lisa said this was her favorite, and I have to agree. The scraps are from my Crazy Little Thing Called Blood taggers kit.

Lisa's are about a billion times more sophisticated. ;) Krystal is not a cookie though, I should probably clarify that one.

On a side note and just in time for Halloween, I had a weird automated call from the Lee County Sherrif's Office notifying me that there is a registered sex offender living in my neighborhoon. They gave an address on 35th, which makes it a pretty big neighborhood, as that's on the other side of the Del Prado canal. They also gave the name and a description, but went on to say that he was NOT currently wanted by the police.

Cape Coral is a very low crime area, but perhaps I should start locking the doors now?

Jungle Love tutorial

W00t! Gothic Jessica made this great tag for me using my Jungle Fever kit. It's animated - which you can't tell from the preview - the little bug flies up and down.

Last batch

The download for Nette and Sherra's part of the train didn't have any paper, so I borrowed off their Ghost Train kit. The frame is also from the Ghost Train - Jo's DZigns offering. Witchy Poo however did come with the kit - she is (c) by MediEvil Creations. The tulips kind of confused me, but I have Jack O Lantern face ding, so I turned them into evil tulips. :)

The Creepy Alpha is from Winter's Loft, and I used it to good effect recently in a tutorial.



The same deal applies with Sherra, although I did try to stick to using the Gothic Inspiration train colors. "Incognito" is by Aussie Scrap Designs.

I really like the doodle frame, BTW.



There was a bit on the web about the University of Florida having a "Flesh Eating Zombie" plan on their emergency plan site, along with what to do in case of a hurricane and a nuclear holocaust. The University says it's just a bit of levity to enliven the otherwise depressing material.

Jen was way-laid by flesh eating monters and got her part up late, but she did finally get it up. "Lost little Ghoul" is (c) Bits'N'Bobs from her Halloween mix poser pack.



Justine was way laid by flesh eating family, which is even worse than flesh eating zombies, but finally did get her portion of the train up. The Bloody Alpha, as mentioned before, is by Sarah at Pimp my Tag with Scraps.



Tracy Did It gave us a full sized kit, but I like the style it was done in and was eager to try a tag with it. The alpha is included in the kit. Sorcha is (c) by MediEvil Creations.



Judy says her portion of the train is "Just" an alpha, but it's not. It's three...actually! I used my portion of the train to do the tag. I bet you always wondered what witches brewed in those kettles. Well...now you know: Alphabet Soup!

Hocus Pocus is (c) by Perfect Posers. Charly didn't put put a lot of Halloween sets, but what she did put out was pretty spectacular.



I like to save the best for last, so I finally got to Jessica's kit and was not let down. LOVE, LOVE, LOVe the Celtic frame and and the black cat - but then I'm partial to black cats.

Niedre is (c) by MediEvil Creations, and the Bloody Alpha is by Sarah at Pimp by Tags with Scraps.



As a footnote, I did mention I found a freebie Justine had posted earlier called "It's a Witch Thing", and used it for this tag. The tube in included, there's no credit, so I don't know who the artist was, but I really like it.

The bronze alpha is from Pam at Digital Delights.

This uses the Hallows' Eve taggers kit by Cora's Creations, the alpha is by Sarah at Pimp my Tags with Scraps, which is part of the train. The "Halloween Ball" poser is by MediEvil Creations.

(I have so many Halloween themed posers, I could probably tag the Ghost Train and still now use them all!)



I didn't want our alpha creators to be left out, so I did this tag for Sarah using my All Hallows' Eve taggers kit. The bloody alpha is, of course, by Pimp my Tag with Scraps. I worked some of the alphas into the background image too.

Ms. Devyl is (c) by MediEvil Creations, and was one of Shannon's freebies from her forum. It appears she's taken all her free work down now.



If birds getting sucked into engines cause trouble with jet planes, you have to wonder how much trouble bats can be to a witch in flight! This tag was done using the Hallows' Eve page kit from Laura's Designz, The "creepy" alpha is by Winter's Loft.

I have no idea who created the witch poser, it was one of several included in the kit.



Another full sized kit I resized for tagging, Super Scrappin Mom gave us lots of papers, every few, but very cute elements, and an alpha. The Halloween poser is by SSLisa at Sophisticated Scraps and Imaging, as is the "Pumpkin Avenue" sign behind her.

Melinda from Melinda's Designs also delivered a full size scrap kit, which I resized to tag with. It includes both the Haunted Delivery van and one of the ghosts from Creative Intentionz. I was going to use the ghost, but in the end felt the spider went better with the overall tag.

Melli is (c) by MediEvil Creations, and the "Creepy" alpha is again by Winter's Loft, who actually has three different - but similar - alphas in her download.



Mystee was late and showed up with one kit for both the Ghost Train and the Gothic Inspirations train, so this is sort of a switch over. The "Bat out of Hell" poser is (c) by Coh Scraps and is included in the kit. The "Halloween Town" alpha (full size) is part of the Ghost Train and was created by I Don't Give a Scrap.

Her post is all mixed up so perhaps she was a bit too "InToXxiKaTed" to tell the difference between the trains.



The "little lost gouhl" poser is (c) by Bits'N'Bob, part of her Halloween Mix pack. The scraps were created by Rachel's Expressionz, while the alpha is from Pimp my Tags with Scraps - in case you hadn't figured it out on your own.

Still MIA on the train is Robin at Scrappersville and Justine with PSP Addictions. Robin is missing for the Ghost Train as well, so I don't expect we'll be seeing her offering at all. Justine was a bit of a surprise, but she does have a witch freebie on her blog, which you can snag HERE if you still need some Halloween goodies.

Gothicly Inspired

Note: I've had a couple of comments that there's some problems getting the All Hallow's Eve kit to download. The link to MediaFire works every time I test it. It's also worked for 250 (and counting) other visitors, so I don't know what to tell you, except it might be a temporary problem with MediaFire and to try again in a little while.

Alternately, it could be a problem with your browser/operating system. If you're using an old version of MSIE, MediaFire won't support the download.

In any case...some creative work I did with some of the other kits on this train....

The groovin' little witch is by Bits'N'Bobs, while the scraps are Created by Jill. The witch does not come with Jill's sampler; neither does the Lookin' Fur alpha which was created by Heaven Dreams.



I just love this Hallows Eve kit by Alyssa's Scraps and Such, she's got some really fun things in there. Widowmaker is (c) by MediEvil Creations and is NOT included, although the spider is. The Creepy Alpha is by Judy at Winter's Loft and is available on the train.



Another type of spider queen is Webmistress (c) by Bits'N'Bobs. Nita from Anti Social Distortions created the scraps. I always love her contributions to the G.I. trains. The alpha, again, is by Winter's Loft.



Interestingly enough, Julie chose to include one of Shannon's Cookie posers in her kit, so Meli is (c) by MediEvil Creations and IS included in the Bits'N'Bob's offering, which I thought was for sale and was going to run out and buy. How nice to get it for free? LOL.

The creepy face alpha is by Morgana at Nutshell Creations.



Pia's offering is one of the full sized kits on the train. I resized it to scrap with. The alpha is included. Halloween Rose is not, she is (c) Design by Lou.



Hutch's Baby at Faith in Christ Scraps includes one of SSLisa's Halloween Witches in her kit. I actually asked Lisa to make these up for my Strange Brew kit and they've proved to be very popular. We're having a slightly harder time getting her to produce a vampire set. Ah, but wait...the Fangtasia Blog Train is coming and look what Lisa is working on for you...



She's still tweeking, this is only a test vamp. LOL! Anyway, the alpha used in the Hutch's Baby tag is by Polarfuchs Treasures Digital Designs and was a blog freebie. You might want to scoot over there and snatch it up.
