The D2D Summer in the City blog train has left the station!

Welcome to the Digicats station on the D2D Summer in the City blog train!

I wanted to get away from the usual summer at the beach theme, although this was open to any city, anywhere, so Santa Monica or Miami was always an option and there's plenty of beach there!

(First some my fellow designers complained they couldn't think of anything for the "in the city" part, that they only did beach kits. Then they complained they were all beached out. I think it's a bit sad they've never been anywhere on summer vacation except to the beach, don't you think?)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this little slice of summer in New York City!

This digital taggers kit contains 12 (800 x 800 pixel, .jpg) papers and 40 elements, including one "Queen Bee" poser by ©Perfect Posers.

You are getting 2 bows, 2 flowers, 2 frames, 2 ribbons, 2 signs, 1 baseball and bat, 1 baseball cap, 1 butterfly, 1 cityscape, 1 fries, 1 frisbee, 1 hose, 1 hot dog cart, 1 hot dog, 1 ice lolly, 1 kite, 1 milkshake, 1 MP3 player, 1 music, 1 pigeon, 1 skateboard, 1 soap bubbles, 1 soccer ball, 1 soccer shoe, 1 sparkles, 1 speakers, 1 streetlight, 1 summer bag, 1 summer clog, 1 sun, 1 sunglasses, 1 tag, 1 taxi, and 1 trash can.

300 DPI. Personal use only.

W4E Popsicle Parade Blog Train

Welcome to the Digicats stop on the Wilma 4 Ever Popsicle Parade blog train! July is National Ice Cream month here in the United States, a fact that AnMarie did not know when she picked the theme for this month's train. So all the sweet treats you are getting on this ride are just a happy coincidence.

Former president Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month in 1984. He also named the third Sunday in July (July 21st this year) as National Ice Cream Day. Reagan recognized the popularity of ice cream in the United States (90% of the nation's population consumes ice cream) and stated that these two events should be observed with "appropriate ceremonies and activities."

Before you ask, there is a REAL ice cream train that you can ride, it leaves out of Newport, Rhode Island, and deals in mainly soft serve. (The photo above is from Choo-Choo's Creamery Ice Cream parlor in Keller.)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my contribution to the National Ice Cream festivities. This is a taggers size kit composed of 12 (800 x 800 pixel, .jpg) papers and 40 elements.

You are getting 2 bows, 2 flowers, 2 frames, 2 ice cream bars, 2 ice cream cones, 2 popsicles, 2 ribbons, 1 banana split, 1 birds, 1 bottle cap, 1 coconut ice cream, 1 flags, 1 heart popsicle, 1 ice cream cart, 1 ice cream parlor, 1 ice cream pop, 1 ice cream sundae, 1 ice cream treat, 1 ice milk, 1 iced melon, 1 milk shake, 1 paper cloud, 1 rocket pop, 1 snow cone, 1 soft serve cone, 1 soft serve cup, 1 sparkles, 1 strawberry ice bon-bon, 1 strawberry parfait, 1 sun, 1 tag, 1 tree, and 1 waffle cone.

300 DPI. Personal use only, please!

Dusk 2 Dawn Fabulous 50's Blog Train

Welcome to the Dusk 2 Dawn Blog Train as we take you back in time to the Fabulous 50's! The 50's were an incredible era...considered the first of the modern age that we now live in. James Dean and Marylin Monroe ruled in Hollywood, passanger jets wisked regular people from one corner of the world to the other, and the age of TV was born, with over 75% of American households purchasing a TV during the 50's.

But perhaps the most far reaching influence of the 50's came when the blues, jazz, gospel music, western swing and country music all came together to give birth to what DJ Alan Freed termed "Rock and Roll" in 1951.

So head on over to the Starlight Drive Thru and join us for a good time! This rockin' little taggers kit comes with 12 papers and 40 retro elements, including one Drive Thru Doll Waitress poser by ©Krissy's Scraps.

You are getting 2 bows, 2 flowers, 2 frames, 2 neon signs, 2 ribbons, 2 word arts, 1 bottle cap, 1 caddy convertable, 1 diner sign, 1 flying piano keys, 1 fuzzy dice, 1 glasses, 1 guitar, 1 ice cream treat, 1 jukebox, 1 leather jacket, 1 microphone, 1 milkshake, 1 motorcycle, 1 music notes, 1 poodle skirt, 1 radio, 1 record, 1 retro circle, 1 rock cupcake, 1 rock n roll cake, 1 rock notebook, 1 roller skate, 1 saddle shoes, 1 sparkles, 1 tag, 1 topper, and 1 yo-yo.

And didn't it turn out cute?
