Earth Day is coming! Help Save the Earth!

A news report in February stated that the United Nations has predicted the global population will reach seven billion this year, and climb to nine billion by 2050, with almost all of the growth occurring in poor countries, particularly Africa and South Asia. To feed all those mouths, we will need to produce as much food in the next 40 years as we have in the last 8,000.

By 2050 we will not have a planet left that is recognizable if current trends continue.

The swelling population will also cause more widespread problems, such as natural resource depletion.

Now, more than ever, it's important to take care of this planet we call home.



Recycling makes me think of rusty metal and rusty makes me think of gears and before you know it, Steampunk Girl has kicked out a Steampunk kit with a very springy feel to it. Although it does have a recycling/Earth Day elements in there.
