Cats sleep in the weirdest spots. Despite having a nice comfy sectional and couch, all sorts of cat tents, cuddles and kitty kwilts, Diamond had shoved herself in a very small spot the other day on an uneven surface and fell sound asleep. Couldn't have been comfortable.
She likes sleeping the cabinet over the fridge, that's her little haven.
Tristan on the other paw has been trying to take over the top of the bookcase. I finally removed the basket with the cat attracting objects in them, but when I walked into the bedroom on Saturday, he was lying, every awkwardly across the stack of photo albums, with his head on the bottom and his butt in the air. I finally gave up, and cleaned off the top of the bookcase for him - more or less.
Looks comfy don't he. I've since had to relocate the candles, as they were getting ready to fall on the ground.
He did look quite concerned when Diamond came in the bedroom last night as I was reading. I think part of the problem is she keeps denying him places to sleep, on the basis that, if he can't sleep in the house, he'll have to leave.
We did have another bout of togetherness last night. I'm hoping that if I can get them used to eating treats together and getting their ears rubbed together while they're eating, they start to associate each other with pleasant experiences and grow to like each other more.
Perhaps I hope in vane.
I used the "2009" taggers kit from Creationz by Jo to do Diamond's blog layout and profile picture. I'm not 100% happy with the blog layout and feel I need to de-congest it a bit, especially if I'm going to apply it to her Xanga Blog.
The profile picture was an attempt to put a black cat on a black background and wasn't totally unsuccessful. Now that I've learned, not only to color in glitter, but write in it as well, I don't actually have to resort to an alpha to do the names. If you look close, I colored her color in gold glitter for the New Year!

If cats didn't choose weird places to sleep, we wouldn't have much to post about at CatSynth :)
I love your "cat" story. Animals are just wonderful.
Thank you for the info you left me, I am passing it on to Snow Raven, and thank you so much for stopping by my blog.
Hugs, Edna B.
I think that is a really good idea.
I think you should stick with it, I bet you get great results :)
