Cats are very weird about where they sleep and Tris is just as odd as any of the others. He's been sleeping on the floor by the bookcase, so I finally took pity on him and made him a little tent to sleep in.
I used one of the play cubes that Diamond has evidenced no interest in, put the one solid side out and one of the ones with a hole up against the bookcase. That gives him two entrances - or exits - and way to keep a look out for Miss Diamond.
I also put a nice snuggle blanket in it, so he'd be comfy.
He ignored it for most of the first day, but has spend most of his time in it since. Except that he evicted two of the three catnip fortune cookies I also put in for him. Not sure what's up with that.
I was trying to get the racing flag to drape over it and give him for privacy, but it wasn't cooperating. Anyway as long as he's happy.
There both in the kitchen when I got up this morning, but they could hear - and likely smell - a rat and were trying to figure out where it was at. Most of the time the things stay up in the roof eves, once in a while one will be stupid and venture down where it can be caught.

Diamond does look quite exhausted after the BKCFOC. Sorry we missed it this weekend.
